# Propel Overview

Welcome to the official documentation for Propel.

### What is Propel?

Propel is a full-blockchain infrastructure provider that specialises in DeFi, Staking, and whatever else comes next. We ensure sound solution and auditing compliance throughout the development lifespan, from first to the final line of code.

Each Propel solution targets a specific Blockchain requirement while also addressing the issue of readily available infrastructure.

This focus guides the services we examine and the development we make, because we can't take on every opportunity; rather, we can only take on the ones that have a clear demand, are useful, and offer synergy to the Propel ecosystem.

Our services includes:

### Strategy Propel Follows&#x20;

Propel team follows a set of strategies and rules to develop each solution:

* &#x20;In-depth research of each solution under the service belt.&#x20;
* Auditing and quality assurance before deployment.&#x20;
* To provide the best array of products, understanding the strategy and viewpoint of the partner.&#x20;
* Team consensus for improved communication and collaboration.

### **Why We Exist**

Launching a token through the traditional route can be a complex and expensive process, which can take months to complete. It involves hiring a developer, auditing the smart contract, and marketing the project to build trust and legitimacy.

To elaborate further, the traditional process can be broken down into the following steps:

1. **Developer:** Firstly, a company needs to find and contract a developer. This process can take 3+ months and can cost up to $10,000 to create the contract.
2. **Audit:** Secondly, the smart contract needs to be audited by a reputable audit firm to ensure that it is secure and free of vulnerabilities. This process can take months and cost between $10,000 to $50,000, depending on the complexity of the smart contract.
3. **Investor Dashboard:** Once the smart contract is ready, a multi-sender tool is used to send money out to investors. This process can cost around $150 per batch.
4. **Marketing:** Finally, a significant amount of marketing is required to build trust and prove legitimacy for the token. This can include creating a website, whitepaper, and other marketing materials, and can cost between $10,000 to $100,000.

Apart from the above steps, designing the token, researching the market and testing the smart contract are also critical components that can significantly add to the cost and time of the traditional token launch process.

# Objectives

We define our purpose, the problem, and the solution in this section.

### Problem&#x20;

<mark style="color:orange;">**Infrastructure is a problem for Blockchain startups. There are a lot of ideas floating about, but none of them are easy to implement.**</mark>

In view of Blockchain's status as a century-defining innovation, an increasing number of people are getting their hands dirty with the technology. However, the technology is difficult to apply, and beginning from scratch might be intimidating. Infrastructure is required in space.

### Solution

<mark style="color:orange;">**A one-stop Blockchain Infrastructure provider - Propel**</mark>

### Goal

To enable a solution ecosystem to provide a deeply customized Blockchain Infrastructure that is coding free, fairly-priced, fully-automated, and with maximum security.

# Decentralised Finance

DeFi-as-a-Service (DaaS)

DeFi-as-a-Service will allow partners to access and deploy DeFi protocols using our "user-friendly interface," even if they have no prior knowledge of decentralised finance development.

* Investor Dashboard: manage tokenomics, allocate tokens according to vesting schedule backed by vesting contracts.&#x20;
* Cross chain bridge: migration of ERC-20 tokens from one chain to another&#x20;
* LP staking: audited staking smart contracts&#x20;
* Custom solution: Customizable DeFi protocols.&#x20;
* Token creation: \~creation of ERC-20 & BEP-20 tokens.

# Investor Dashboard

All DeFi platforms need a way to onboard and manage investors. Early investors join during the private sale or token presale, while the product is still in development. Then there will be a regular group of investors who will buy tokens or make deposits in order to increase their profits. In actuality, most early investors enjoy additional benefits such as lower token prices, early access to platform features, or even decision-making authority. Because of these variables, managing tokens and investors is a key responsibility for any project.

<mark style="color:orange;">Propel provides an Investor Dashboard module that can be easily integrated into any DeFi project to make the process easier.</mark>&#x20;

This module serves as a single-window control center for project owners to :

* execute token sales,&#x20;
* allot tokens,&#x20;
* set lock-in periods, and&#x20;
* select different token distribution rounds.

In other words, the Investor Dashboard module provides DeFi companies with a configurable interface for creating token sale campaigns and managing tokenomics.

### What are vesting smart contracts?

Vesting Contracts are versatile smart contract modules on Propel that let projects to design automatic vesting timelines according on their needs. Vesting Contracts are commonly used in the fundraising process to ensure that tokens acquired early on are gradually released. **The process of vesting tokens over time minimizes dumping and improves the market performance of the token.**&#x20;

Projects may utilize Propel's Vesting module to create unique smart contracts for use cases like Seed/Private vesting, team vesting, and more, depending on their financing structure and tokenomic model.

# Explore Investor Dashboard.

<figure><img src="https://1893183758-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FgFhpAcXh5NWSDu5l0Mtk%2Fuploads%2FqxPsk8BbYUrc4Sad4E24%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=d8d85ae4-0132-4ccf-93bb-fcfbc3a1a364" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Investor Dashboard is depicted in the image above. The token sale distribution can be divided into these categories:

1. **Seed Round:** Long-term supporters and key alliances ready to donate early are honored in the seed round. Their support and devotion demonstrate a shared vision for the project.
2. **Private Round:** The goal of the private round is to seek commercial assistance that will enable the project to realize its long-term vision while also increasing its international prominence.
3. **Public round:** To achieve complete decentralization and measurable token value, tokens’ actual and real distribution is critical. The private round aids in the natural transition from a privately generated idea to a public domain entity.
4. **Team round:** Incentivizing a team’s hard work to motivate and encourage a good job is the goal of the team round. A percentage of the token is reserved for distribution among the team members.

Other categories include rewards, ecosystem & marketing and Reserve. These rounds are customizable according to a project’s need.

When a user connects their wallet to the vesting dashboard, they can access/view several pointers:

1. **Total allocation:** Total allocation refers to the total number of tokens allotted to each user throughout each round.
2. **Claimable:** This refers to the total quantity of tokens that have been unlocked and are available for the user to claim.
3. **Vested tokens:** These tokens have a lock-in term and are distributed regularly after a set amount of time.
4. **Claimed:** This is the total number of tokens a user has claimed.

# Opting Investor Dashboard

![Flowchart](https://1893183758-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FgFhpAcXh5NWSDu5l0Mtk%2Fuploads%2FM4SxUDhg8Z4hXaaEK1DZ%2F7.%20%20Investor%20Dashboard%20Flow.png?alt=media\&token=3c386798-ef01-4348-8809-d5a3383099b1)

Follow the flowchart above to choose Propel's Investor Dashboard for your projects' token sale. Basically, all you have to do is send us your tokenomics, vesting schedule, investor data, the number of sale rounds, and any other customizations you'd want for your token sale. The vesting smart contract with all the specifications is then integrated by our tech team, and your customised dashboard is made available under your project profile on [app.propel.xyz](http://app.propel.xyz/).

### Partners using Propel's Investor Dashboard.

Propel is delighted for the opportunity to provide Investor Dashboard Services to **OneRare, Pontoon,** and **SugarBounce**. The dashboards for both of these projects are live on Propel and can be found at [app.propel.xyz](http://app.propel.xyz/).

# Staking

<figure><img src="https://1893183758-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FgFhpAcXh5NWSDu5l0Mtk%2Fuploads%2FPiDqKt1OpVl1swr4G6np%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=e0b737b6-5294-47c8-a0cb-93d44f072a1f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Staking is a key aspect of any DeFi project, since it allows users to put their tokens into a smart contract and earn benefits in return. **Staking allows users to contribute to the network's security by locking up tokens**. As a result, users are rewarded with native tokens for safeguarding the network. Staking is one of the most extensively utilized services in any DeFi ecosystem due to the incentives they provide.

Projects can opt for Propel's token staking smart contract modules to design their own staking program based on their objective and incentives. They may either use pre-made templates or opt for customized their smart contracts. The staking program becomes live in our website with the finest UI after the smart contract is created and deployed.

### Types of Staking

<mark style="color:orange;">**Single-asset staking:**</mark> User deposits token A and is rewarded with token A proportionally to the size of their staked amount.&#x20;

<mark style="color:orange;">**Liquidity-Provider (LP) staking :**</mark> User deposit LP token (Token A - BNB pair) and is rewarded with token A proportionally to the size of their staked amount.

# Opting Staking

This page describes how to opt for Propel staking module

![Flowchart](https://1893183758-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FgFhpAcXh5NWSDu5l0Mtk%2Fuploads%2FBa7TQqkVFOLgFfYc7ztw%2F8.%20Staking%20Flow.png?alt=media\&token=f1ba601d-28e5-4f3a-9665-469f406d6cfe)

The difference between single-asset and LP staking is that the goal of LP Staking is to improve the liquidity of a DeFi protocol, whereas single-asset staking underlines the importance of a blockchain network's security.&#x20;

The rewards in single-asset staking is based on Annual Percentage Yield (APY) whereas in LP staking the rewards are calculated in terms of amount of token staked and the liquidity of the pool.

#### Mandatory attricbutes

To get staking for your token, you'll need to give us with a few pieces of information so that our tech team can create a unique smart contract that meets your needs.

1. Single-asset staking: **total APY , rewardToken** (token to be rewarded), **stakeToken** (token to be staked), **contract owner address** (the address of the smart contract owner).&#x20;
2. LP staking: **rewardToken** (token to be rewarded), **stakeToken** (token to be staked), **contract owner address** (the smart contract owner's address), **totalReward** (total reward calculated according to the smart contract's formula), **startBlock** (block from which staking begins), **endBlock** ( block at which the staking ends).

#### Optional attributes

![Optional data](https://1893183758-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FgFhpAcXh5NWSDu5l0Mtk%2Fuploads%2FMEkZBmmbkSKQRQ3q06Ew%2F9.%20Staking%20flow%20continued.png?alt=media\&token=8396a50c-e2a0-4574-b02d-acc05ee6f9f6)

The flowchart above describes the optional attributes that can be incorporated into the smart contract for more optimized staking program.

# Tokenomics

$PEL is the native ERC-20 governance token of Propel. Staking, reward sharing through providing liquidity to or safeguarding the protocol, as well as governance procedures, will all use $PEL as the fundamental utility token across a portfolio of Propel products.&#x20;

The token utility and tokenomics of $PEL were created with the blockchain's community-first approach in mind. Ownership of $PEL, which may be utilized to engage in platform governance, is earned by actual participation in protocol operations and maintenance. This technique enables ecosystem alignment by allowing for community-driven governance, creating a fair incentivization model, and allowing for community-driven governance.

### Utilities

PEL is the native token of the Propel platform. It contains features such as governance, incentives, and Proof of Stake (PoS):&#x20;

* Staking: users will stake $PEL to earn rewards and participate in Launchpools; &#x20;
* Governance: users will signal their intention to make platform decisions via $PEL native token governance; &#x20;
* Deflation via Platform Growth: As Propel itself grows, $PEL is retained and acquired for B2B deals.
